I am a medical student and am interested in learning more on skin cure and while I was reading I was little bit confused about the layer of the skin. I like to know which layer of our skin effects third degree burns?

the third degree burn is that in which the wound has extended beyond the skin and has destroyed the deeper tissue like muscle and has reached the bone....
can u expand it little more
