CEMIC (Centro de Educación Médica e Investigaciones Clínicas “Norberto Quirno”) was founded in 1958. It is a private non-profit association and a public weal entity with high educational objectives, and over 50 years experience in research and teaching for a better medical care. It was awarded the Platinum Konex Prize in 1998.

CEMIC came into existence by the VISION of its founders, Dr. Norberto Quirno and a group of disciples and friends. As a result of this vision, CEMIC has become a leading institution in the field of health care.
