The word emergency contraception needs to ring a bell--- emergency.!!!  For god's sake, can we stop the media from brainwashing our young population into  using this 'CONTRACEPTION' DRUG.. first of all it is not a contraceptives.. in the real meaning anything that prevents conceptions is called contraceptive . this drug should be called INTERCEPTIVE . this can be used in an EMERGENCY situation , rarely but our media has succeded in making the innoncent taking this as almost a routine 'carry in purse' contraceptive pills which is so 'safe' , why to bother..... as gynecs we should educate women into telling them the actuallity... they have the right to know that this is not a drug that your body should be bombarded day in day out !!!!  severe gastrointestinal upset are seen and period regularity can be disrupted . .
