Job Description
• Liaising with the company’s India and East African offices to plan patient’s medical treatment and travel logistics and booking; to include, clinical & pre-travel patient assessments, handling diagnostics information, liaising with Indian India office for appropriate medical opinions, Visa facilitation details, booking travel, arranging accommodations and ground transfers and generally ensuring that the patient experiences a smooth travel and treatment process for his medical travel to India.
• Maintaining oversight of on-the-ground patient travel and medical logistics.
• Working with India office to ensure patients receive advocacy and attention to include preferred procedure scheduling, hospital services, and advisement
• Providing patient updates to family members throughout the medical treatment process
• Marketing AKGH services to the local doctors, hospitals and corporates in the placed country.
Salary: INR 9,00,000 - 12,00,000 P.A

Desired Candidate Profile
Education: (UG - Diploma) AND (PG - Any PG Course)
• Experience working in the field of medical/ medical tourism/ healthcare industry
• International Patient Service (ISP) experience at one of the top Indian hospitals a plus
• Familiarity with computer programs including Microsoft Office and other travel booking and client management platforms
• Fluency in both Hindi and English
• Arabic language skills a plus but not required
• Diploma required
• Experience in medical tourism and outbound travel client management will be a plus
• Training in management or business administration or equivalent a plus
• Clinical training in the medical field a plus but not required

The hiring company is a world-renowned travel operator that has a medical travel division to provide travel logistics, planning and clinical expert brokerage services to patients seeking medical treatment abroad, in India. The company is looking to hire experienced and highly motivated personnel to be medical travel case manager to be placed in one of the east African countries. A successful candidate will have experience working in the medical tourism/medical/health related industry and providing case management services to patients on the ground. Experience in the medical profession as a doctor or nurse is a major plus, but not required for application. This person shall report to the General Manager.
