South Korea, one of the fastest growing countries in medical tourism sector, has introduced a new initiative called 'collaborative medical tourism' targeting Middle East tourists. The country welcomed more than 60,000 medical tourists from across the globe last year. The level of medical expertise in South Korea is known to be comparable to America, particularly in the areas of prostate diseases, diabetes and obesity treatment and plastic surgery.
